Art By the Lake
A 35-minute drive from downtown Ottawa will bring you to a stunning cottage, Monet Bay, on a quiet lake nestled in the Gatineau Hills. Respond to the natural beauty, doing visual studies of the flora, fauna and landscapes, while developing your techniques with:
* Acrylic Paint
* Coloured Pencil
* Soft Pastel
* Pencil Sketching
* En-plein-air Sketching

Tuesday - Friday (4 days) *Note: 2019 - Friday, Aug. 9 only! $85
9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Snacks, lunch and all art materials included.
The workshop will consist of a comfortable blend of beginner, intermediate and advanced artists. Look forward to some gentle hiking to beautiful lookouts, sketching & painting “en plein air”, slide shows of inspirational works by great artists, and a feeling of real accomplishment. By the end of the week, you will have several works of art to take home, including a full acrylic landscape painting on canvas.
